Identify the lies over your identity

Who am I?

My heart is to encourage in a way that transforms, and having walked through identity struggles all my life, identity in Christ is very close to my heart. It was through walking out this revelation in my own life that brought me into freedom from depression and anxiety.

I want to simplify it for you. I feel there are a lot of conflicting lies about identity in the world today, and I pray you can find truth, hope and freedom in the words on this page.

Below are a few declarations I have written for you, write them out for yourself and print them up. There is great importance on speaking out declarations. Think for a moment what you speak over yourself on a daily basis. What do you say to yourself every time you look in the mirror? Are they words of life or words that produce no hope?

The enemy is called the accuser of the brethren, and he rubs his hands in glee when he hears you speaking words of negativity and accusation over yourself. When in truth, you are a masterpiece created by a loving Father. If you find that hard to believe, then its time you start recognizing and uprooting those lies and replacing those words with truth.

Revelation 12:11 tells us; 'They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.'

If your testimony has looked anything less than words of life and encouragement over yourself (and others), then its time you stop partnering with the accuser and align your words with the blood of the Lamb.

I am His Beloved.

Declaration: Father I Thank-you that you look upon me with eyes of pure love. I am your greatest affection. Your Love for me is unequal, unmatched, and it far surpasses any other love I could find. I ask for fresh revelations of your love today. I am your beloved.' Receive: These words are from the heart of Jesus directly to you; "O my beloved, you are striking- lovely even in your weakness. When I see you in your beauty, I see a radiant city, where we will dwell as one. More pleasing than any pleasure, more delightful than any delight, you have ravished my heart, stealing away my strength to resist you. Even hosts of angels stand in awe of you." Song of Songs 6:4 TPT

I am victorious.

Declaration: 'Jesus has already overcome, therefore I have the power and ability of His Spirit residing in me to overcome everything that would try to defeat me. Today, I raise up a shout of victory over area of my life that is screaming 'defeat!' I declare His name is above every other name and I am victorious in everything because of Him!'
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

I am empowered by His strength.

Declaration: 'Jesus, for every time I feel weak in my circumstances or weak in my failures, I know that I can draw from your supernatural, unfailing, invigorating, life-giving strength. For you have promised that all I need is to lean on your Grace, for when I do, your power is made mighty in my weakness. I lean into your Grace today and surrender the things I feel weak in, in exchange for your all consuming mighty power to invade the realms of the impossible in my life. Amen.'  2 Corinthians 12:9 Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

I will be posting more of these declarations in the coming weeks.

Happy truth speaking :)
