Have you felt under assault? Change your posture!

In worship tonight I felt the Holy Spirit impress to me that His people had been under violent assault. I myself, had been in a cloud of what seemed like muck and confusion for well over a week and so as I was in worship pressing into His heart, I heard His whisper... 'Change your posture.' I was laying on my back and so I got down onto the floor and onto my knees. Once on my knees, I heard His whisper, 'look at me'... So with eyes closed... I lifted my head and immediately in a vision I saw an all consuming fire falling like a tunnel onto me and all around me. Immediately I thought of Elijah and the fire he called down onto his alter with the prophets of Baal watching on.

I heard the Father speak, 'My people have been muddied with confusion because the enemy has been attempting to distract them from beholding My glory with everything that is going on around them. I tell you, lift your eyes in adoration to Me. Lift your eyes in worship. Lift your eyes and my all consuming fire will burn up every assault and conspiracy of the enemy. Change your posture, change your posture into one of worship, I am raising up an army on their knees.'

As this vision continued, I suddenly felt immense glory all around me and I sensed I was in the throne room before the King. He walked before me and placed a gold sceptre in my hands and I felt the physical weight of it and again I heard Him say, 'I am making your adversaries your footstool'. Immediately after this vision, I looked up this scripture and was astounded when I read it's context.

Psalm 110:1-2 The Lord Father says to my Lord the Messiah, His Son, "Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet subjugating them into complete submission.” The Lord will send the scepter of Your strength from Zion, saying, "Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”

Through Jesus, you have been given all authority to subjugate the enemy- the word subjugate literally means to conquer, vanquish, defeat, crush and overpower. Where the enemy has been attempting to overpower you, almighty God has given YOU the sceptre of His strength through worship to crush and overpower the enemies plans and in turn, use the enemy as a footstool to step up higher.

I sense the Lord is inviting His sons and daughters into a deeper place of worship, guiding His children to change their posture from one of fear and worry to one of deeper intimacy as they behold His glory. I see that as you, His children, praise and worship Him in the midst of the confusion and fear, He is bestowing upon you His sceptre from the throne of Zion. This sceptre of His praise will become your strength as you rise up in your God-given, Royal authority and you will rule over and in the midst of the enemies that had sought to destroy you. The enemy flees in terror at the sound of your worship.

Rise up mighty one, lift up your eyes!

Psalm 24:8-9 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
